Professor

Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have 14 years of teaching or/and research experience post attaining the degree of MD/ MS. OR
• The candidate must have 12 years of teaching or/and research experience post attaining the degree of M.Ch./ D.M. OR
• The candidate must have 12 years of teaching or/and research experience post attaining the 3-year degree of D.M./ M.Ch.

Non-Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have 14 years of teaching or/and research experience post completing PhD.

Additional Professor

Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have 10 years of teaching or/and research experience post completing MD/MS.

Super Specialty Discipline:

• The candidate must have 8 years of teaching or/and research experience post attaining the degree of D.M./ M.Ch. OR
• The candidate must have 7 years of teaching or/and research experience post attaining the 3-year degree of D.M./ M.Ch.

Non-Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have 10 years of teaching or/and research experience post completing PhD.

Associate Professor

Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have 6 years of teaching or/and research experience post completing MD/MS.

Super Specialty Discipline:

• The candidate must have 4 years of teaching or/and research experience post attaining the degree of D.M./ M.Ch. OR
• The candidate must have 3 years of teaching or/and research experience post attaining the 3-year degree of D.M./ M.Ch.

Non-Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have 6 years of teaching or/and research experience post completing PhD.

Assistant Professor

Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have qualified as per the schedule I, II, III of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 along with a Master’s degree.
• The candidate must hold a Master’s Degree like M.D/ M.Ch./MS/D.M./MDS.

Non-Medical Candidates:

• The candidate must have 1 – 2 years of teaching or/and research experience.
