Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi releases the notification related to the Delhi Nursery Admission 2023-24 at their official portal. Interested candidates can apply for nursery admission in any CBSE School of Delhi. Before applying for the admission process, candidates can check the eligibility criteria online. The admission process is commenced for open seats (other than DG/ EWS/ CWSN). Only students who are below 6 years of age can participate in the admission process. Parents who wish to enroll their child in the same can apply through the official website i.e. www.edudel.nic.in.

Eligibility Requirements
- The age of the applicants for admission in Nursery class is 3 to 5 years.
- For admission to KG or Pre-Primary, the age of the candidates must be 4 to 6 years.
- For Class, I, the age of the student should be 5 to 7 years as of 31 March 2023.
- The Family Income of the student should not be more than 1 Lakh Rupees (Per Year).
- Applicants must belong to CWSN/ DG/ EWS category.
- The student must be a permanent resident of Delhi.

Nursery Admission Delhi 2023 Application Form
The application process for Delhi Nursery Admission depends on the school where the candidate is applying. However, the application form for DG/ EWS/ CWSN will be made available via online means only. For general and open seats, the forms will be released via online mode while some schools will release the same via offline means.
- To apply under 75% open quota seats in schools, you can obtain the form either through the online mode by visiting the official portal of the school or by visiting the school’s admission office.
- The official website to get the application form is www.edustud.nic.in.
- Parents need to fill out the application form inaccurate manner.
- Apart from providing the details, you also need to upload/ affix a recent passport size photograph of the student/ child according to the given specifications in the application form.
- The application fee for DG/ EWS category candidates is Rs. 25/-

Delhi Nursery Admission 2023 Selection Process
- Admission to general seats, the schools in Delhi will grant points to students out of 100.
- Different students consider different parameters while giving points to the students like a single parent, girl child, distance from the school, alumni parent, etc.
- Later, a lucky draw will be held to select the students for 25% of DG/ EWS category seats.
- Some schools can also have their own admission criteria as well. For instance, Salwan School is not providing nursery admission to the children of parents having more than 2 kids.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2023-24 Result
- The respective school will be responsible to upload the list of students selected for admission on their official website or notice board.
- If the name of the child is found on the selection list, then the parents of the ward have to report to the school along with all the necessary documents.
- After the verification of the documents, the admission of the child will be confirmed.
- Results of the Delhi Nursery Admission Lottery 2023 will be uploaded on the authorized website of DOE. You can check it by entering the registration number and date of birth of the child.
